Project Description

GDCA is a unique company that deals in end-of-life computer components. The problem for GDCA was that their branding and marketing also looked end-of-life.

Although a it’s a small company, GDCA works with massive, global organizations like Motorola, Emerson Electric, Lockheed Martin and branches of the US military. They needed branding that would show they were bigger, more trustworthy and more capable than their previous, flimsy logo had indicated.

There are several elements in the logo which are meant to communicate core company values. The color green and metal traces illustrate the nature of their business: embedded computer boards. These elements are wrapped on a ball to indicate the global reach of their work. All of this is given a forward slant to show how they shepherd their customers beyond obsolescence and into the future.

In addition to the primary logo, I also created several program and value logos.
