Too much! Mercy, too much! I’m drunk on the beauty of this place but it’s starting to overwhelm. Today we drive to Villarrube. We’ll join the Santiago de Pantin Surf School for a slow, lazy paddle down the Rio das Mestas to Praia de Villarrube. When we’re done, we’ll hop over the hill to Playa Pantin and set up camp on the beach with other surfers. We’ll grab some food to go, park Andre with the back open to the ocean, turn on some light music and read poetry to each other. Yeah, I think that’s just about the right pace for today.
